"It's in the Bag" Backpack Food Ministry
Discreetly provides nutritious, child-friendly, easy-to-prepare food to chronically hungry children in every day backpacks to take home over the weekends and out-of-school times. This weekly program includes picking up empty bags on Tuesday, packing them on Wednesday, and returning them to the schools on Thursday to send them home on Friday. For the most part the storage, packing and distribution is all done from Dennett Road School. There are many volunteers who help with these many steps each week and we thank them all for their service and labor of love. If you would like to help with this outreach ministry to the children in our elementary schools, you may contact Pastor Jenna for information and more details on how you could serve.
